Upcoming GHMC Election…"Time for new politics in Greater Hyderabad!"(Date : 14-June-2007)
Lok Satta Party launches Janarajakeeya Yatra in Hyderabad:
With the aim of establishing a New Political Culture in the 416-year old Hyderabad City (now converted into the Greater Hyderabad metro) Lok Satta Party is launching a 10-day whirlwind tour (Janarajakeeya Yatra) of the divisions, colonies and slums of our metropolis.
Led by Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan, the Party’s regional leadership along with hundreds of young volunteers and enthusiastic members will begin covering all major areas in the metro city.With GHMC elections due soon, this campaign will channelize people’s strong desire for a better kind of politics in the city. It will showcase the need for a truly people-centered and transparent political culture under a genuinely democratic leadership.
Greater Hyderabad Janarajakeeya Yatra:
The Janarajakeeya Yatra campaign kicks off with road shows and face-to-face interactions with the citizens in Kukatpally and Qutbullapur regions on the 15th. It will continue up to the 24th, covering several key areas of Greater Hyderabad. |
